Περιγραφή του οργανισμού: The Kitchen Garden concept is taken care of by the community chest Fund Foundation, which is a Maltese organization that helps in the making of fundraising events to collect money that are then distributed amongst people in need.

Description of what they do in regards to urban gardening: The kitchen garden concept is a type of social enterprise from which the organization collects money. They grow some of their own crops on their premises in the middle of an urban town and they make use of that to come up with food that they sell and make use of the money that they earn for the benefit of the people that they work with. On the same premises a group of young people meet up regularly. They are taken care of by the organization Karl Vella Foundation. They are young people who have family members dealing with cancer. The organization organizes weekly activities for them and some of the activities, include the up keeping of this urban garden.
